Vintage Rose Soap with Colloidal Oats
This botanical soap is made with rose petals that have been infused in olive oil. It is suitable for all skin types and can be used on the face. Rose petals are a rich anti-oxidant that is high in vitamin C. Being astringent they are said to reduce excess oil, tighten and shrink large pores, be cleansing and toning. They also help trap moisture into the skin to make it feel soft and fresh.
Added Brazilian purple clay produces a smooth creamy lather and gives the soap it’s colour. It is a gentle exfoliant, helps with oil control and good for re-mineralising the skin.
Colloidal oats is a finely ground soothing anti-inflammatory grain that calms dry sensitive skin. It binds to the skin to create a protective barrier against irritants and helps maintain the skins normal PH.
Shea Butter also adds to the luxury - it is rich in vitamins, and easily absorbed into the skin. It does not clog pores and is known to form a breathable barrier on the skin to help protect it from the elements like the sun and wind. Your skin should not feel tight or dry when you use natural soaps.

Te Puke Soap Company soaps are handmade the old fashioned way using the cold process soap-making method. They are made using all natural ingredients in small batches. Bar sizes do vary as they are handcut but are in excess of 100 grams in weight.
Since our natural soaps don't contain any synthetic preservatives or artificial hardeners, please remember to care for them. Store your soap on a well drained soap dish, aired and out of any water. Use within 6 months of purchase.
